Kimaiwi is the startup founded in 2022 that has just joined Turistec®. Headquartered in Vitoria-Gasteiz, it also has a branch in Lanzarote. The new members explain that they have been working since then. “We’ve seen the digital landscape change dramatically. The industry and the environment have been transformed. Our clients’ businesses and their challenges have become more complex . Consumer behavior has also changed, and we, as a company, have evolved with all of these changes.” And it has led them to a new project in which they propose ” a roadmap to integrate Web3 and Blockchain technologies into tourism, progressively and in coexistence with the better known Web 1 and 2.”

Specifically, they have dedicated the last two years to the study of these technologies and the development of concepts and their application in ” new solutions and services based on our well-known internet of information (Web1/2) along with important new developments regarding the optional application of the aforementioned Web3 and Blockchain and AI technologies in several of our products.”

Kimaiwi’s proposal involves creating next-generation hotel websites , “unique experiences with modern designs, ready to easily and efficiently integrate other proprietary or third-party systems, such as booking engines, gamification, PMS, CRM, loyalty programs, etc. “ They also emphasize the development of “search engine optimization concepts and techniques based on daily experience accumulated since before Google even existed.”
